GWSR Individual Annual Passes

Experience the magic of the railway throughout the seasons with a GWSR Annual Pass. Perfect for regular visitors, these passes offer unlimited travel on our standard scheduled services for a full year from the date of purchase.

We offer two levels of membership to suit your travel style:

1. The Standard Annual Pass – £250

Our most flexible option. Enjoy unlimited travel on any of our standard operating days throughout the year.

2. The Off-Peak Annual Pass – £75

Great value for those who prefer a quieter journey. This pass is valid for travel on Thursdays and Sundays during our standard operating season, and is not valid on any special event.

To ensure you have a smooth journey, please take a moment to review the following terms for our Individual Annual Passes:

Using Your Pass

  • Validation: Your annual pass is not a direct boarding pass. Before boarding, please present your pass at any of our Booking Offices to receive a complimentary travel ticket.

  • Duration & Transfer: Passes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-transferable (they can only be used by the named pass holder).

What’s Included

  • Standard Services: Unlimited travel on all standard scheduled services.

  • Galas: "Individual" annual passes are valid for travel during our Gala events; off-peak passes are not valid for travel during Galas.

  • Exclusions: Passes cannot be used for special "dining" or non-routine services, including Fish & Chip Specials, Afternoon Tea, Gin Trains, or Wine & Cheese trains.

Travelling with Others

  • Carers: We are committed to accessibility. If a pass holder with a disability is reliant on a carer, please present your annual pass at the Booking Office, and a complimentary carer ticket will be issued.

  • Dogs: Four-legged friends are welcome! A flat fee of £5 applies for dogs; please purchase a dog ticket at the Booking Office before boarding.
