This rich historical material, complemented by a display of authentic artefacts
Since 2022, volunteers from the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway Trust have delved into the history of former railway employees based at Broadway. Their research has uncovered the life stories of six individuals, alongside detailed accounts of the roles they held and a short film depicting the type of work they performed.
This rich historical material, complemented by a display of authentic artefacts, now features in a brand-new exhibition at Broadway Museum & Art Gallery, in Broadway village a 20min gentle walk from the Station. To coincide with the national Railway 200 celebrations, the display will run for two years, offering visitors an engaging insight into the people who kept the railway running.
For those interested in exploring the exhibition, full opening times can be found on the Broadway Museum website. Please note the Museum is closed on a Sunday.
Museum entry £6:00 per person when purchased with a day rover ticket on our railway.
