A spectacular event that brings together classic vehicles, historic locomotives and nostalgic charm across our beautiful Cotswold line
Throughout the weekend, our stations will come alive with activity as we showcase an impressive collection of vintage cars, motorbikes and heritage buses, alongside a full timetable of steam and diesel train services. Enjoy the sights, sounds and atmosphere of a bygone era as different forms of transport come together in one unforgettable celebration.
Take a ride behind one of our classic locomotives, admire the gleaming vehicles on display, or hop aboard a preserved heritage bus connecting key stations along the line. With themed displays, period music, stalls and refreshments, there is plenty for enthusiasts and families alike to enjoy.
Whether you are passionate about railways, classic motoring or simply enjoy the nostalgia of yesteryear, the GWSR Vintage Weekend offers a truly memorable experience in the heart of the Cotswolds.
Event highlights include:
• A full steam and diesel timetable in operation from Cheltenham Racecourse to Broadway
• Displays of beautifully restored vintage cars and motorbikes across all of our main stations
• Heritage bus services and exhibits
• Period displays, live music and traditional refreshments at key stations, including a Hawkstone Bar at Toddington
